Hot mix asphalt (HMA) pavement surfaces deteriorate faster than owners want these days.
Two things drive this:
- HMA isn't made with the same "good stuff" (i.e., high quality ingredients) it was years ago.
- Water and UV rays oxidize the surface asphalt cement (AC) – aka "binder" – hindering its ability to hold aggregate in place and the pavement together.
Our products deliver high-performance asphalt pavement repair and preservation by putting the "good stuff" back into a pavement surface's asphalt cement – and protecting that "good stuff" – helping the asphalt cement hold aggregate in place and the pavement together.
Our products do this by integrating with the pavement to:
- Restore the surface asphalt cement (i.e., replenish oils and resins lost to the original refining process and to oxidation over time).
- Protect the surface asphalt cement (i.e., seal it from oxidizing moisture and UV rays).
- Never crack, peel, or delaminate (which other treatments that “sit on top of a pavement” are prone to do).
