Pavement Preservation Season: The Homestretch

As the summer asphalt maintenance season starts winding down, we’re reminded of a Dr. Seuss saying: “how did it get so late so soon?” One day it’s April, and we’re waiting for the snow/rain/mud to clear up so we can get rolling with pavement projects…and then suddenly it’s Labor Day weekend, and baseball’s penant races are in full swing. The Homestretch.

Hopefully your major tasks have been accomplished for the year – and if not, there’s still some time remaining (well into October for many of you). Either way, ASI would like to thank you for your business this summer, as always. While not everything has been perfect, we have seen some fantastic GSB-88®, PASS®, and GSB-Repave® pavement preservation projects over the past few months.

Time Flies-3

Even when days are hot & long, and equipment breaks down, and it rains at the worst possible moment…it is a pleasure working with good people. It takes a lot of folks working together to make a successful job, and we appreciate every one of you. In reality, most days are terrific out there.
